This simple app implements a decimal clock. That means it divides the day in ten equal hours that are themselves divided into 100 minutes with 100 seconds each. Each second lasts 864 UTC milliseconds.
This clock works in two modes:
- standard mode where time is always normalized to Munich Decimal Time (MDT), which coincidentally shares the beginning of a day with GMT+1. It doesn't respect daylight saving time.
- heretic mode where the local time zone is being used to calculate the beginning of a day. This mode also respects daylight saving time.
The decimal clock has been developed to make obsolete UTC and its time zones.
